Warriors Announce Award Winners for 2005 / 06

Over 70 of our male and female basketball players and coaches took part in our end of season tournament and awards presentation on Sunday. This number represents only half of the number of players and coaches who have been involved in our programme this season. The event took place at the superb new Shrewsbury Sports Village and followed our Annual General Meeting.

Between 2.00pm and 5.00 pm a large number of spectators watched a hard fought afternoon of match play between mixed teams drawn from across the whole age range and a series of 3 shooting and slam dunk competitions.

Following the competitive action the participants and spectators enjoyed a tremendous buffet and then attended the trophy presentation. Awards were presented to the following MVPs, Most Improved Players and Team Spirit Award winners in each of our representative Regional and National League Teams.
